PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — A Prestonsburg man is facing a misdemeanor prostitution charge, after he told police he had been trading gift cards for sex. Just before 6 a.m. Sunday, a Paintsville Police officer spotted a car parked alongside the Speedway gas station. FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will host a live auction to sell surplus items and confiscated hunting and fishing equipment on Monday, Oct. 5. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., and the auction of surplus property and confiscated items will begin at 9:30 a.m. The auction will be held outdoors, rain or shine, on the department’s headquarters campus at 1 Sportsman’s Lane in Frankfort, Kentucky.
