LONDON, Ky. — A former miner who turned to selling drugs when the coal industry’s collapse left him financially “shattered” has been sentenced to four years in prison. Adam Little Jr., 51, of Elkhorn City, pleaded guilty in March to a single count of possessing more than 500 grams of meth with the intent to distribute. Court records show that police raided Little’s home in April of 2021, where they seized more than 3,300 grams of meth and nearly $23,000 in cash. LONDON, Ky. — An Ohio man has pleaded guilty distributing meth in Letcher County. Tjhaun Green, 34, of Akron, pleaded guilty to distributing more than 50 grams of meth during a rearrangement hearing on Monday. With his plea, Green admitted to regularly traveling to Letcher County to deliver shipments at meth. On Jan. 14, police set up a purchase from Green using an undercover informant.
