LONDON, Ky. — A Lexington man has been arrested on allegations he was the source supplying fentanyl dealers across Eastern Kentucky. Ramando “Scoop” Taylor Jr., 27, is charged with distributing more than 40 grams of fentanyl and conspiracy. Hazard Police Captain James Grigsby, who serves on a DEA task force, was among the investigators on the case and presented it to obtain arrest and search warrants. HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Martin County man has been sentenced to more than eight years in prison for his part in a drug distribution network in Huntington. Kody Harless, 28, of Tomahawk, pleaded guilty back in November to possession of fentanyl with the intent to distribute. With his plea, he admitted to obtaining nearly 5 grams of fentanyl from a source in Huntington, and that he intended to sell some of it. LONDON, Ky. — The second of two defendants in a federal meth trafficking case out of Floyd County is expected to enter a guilty plea tomorrow. Briana Hunter, 31, of McDowell, was indicted along with Stephanie Hall, 32, of Maytown, on a single count of conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of meth. The two were arrested in May 2024 when they were pulled over for excessive window tint and a state trooper found nearly half a pound of meth in their car.
